Welcome to the Clayton County Library System blog

This is the first post on our new blog. We hope you find it informative.

Currently, I’m reading the World is Flat by Thomas Friedman. While I’ve just started dipping my toes into the book, it’s a quite readable look at how globalization has changed our every day lives since the turn of the millenium. A concise overview is available on Mr. Friedman ’s website. The World Is Flat is available for check out by patrons with a valid PINES library card (catalog link). I will post some of my other favorite reads in the near future. My primary reading interests are Current Events, History and other non fiction (although I like a good spy thriller every once in a while too!) – Ted
