Clifford the Big Red Dog Visits Headquarters

You know him, you love him…Clifford the Big Red Dog. Well, that big dog stopped by the Headquarters Library on Tuesday, June 19 to visit with the children during a special storytime featuring, what else, Clifford stories! He gave and received lots of hugs and posed for pictures too. Scroll down to see the terrific pictures.

Most people recognize Clifford from TV, but Clifford the Big Red Dog was first created in books and stories by the author Norman Bridwell. He started as a small red puppy, but he grew up quickly into a dog the size of a house! Go to the Scholastic website to find out more about Clifford, Emily Elizabeth, and all his friends and play some games and activities. Stop by any of the Clayton County libraries to find lots of Clifford books to read. You can add them to your Vacation Reading Program reading log.
